     Sunday School

 

Junior Sunday School - (Up to and including P4)  

Leave Church during Morning Service / Holy Communion.

 

Senior Sunday School - (P5 - Form 3 / year 10)  

Sunday (except Family Service) - 10.00 - 11.00 am in the Church Hall.

The Sponsored Bounce took place on Saturday 9th October in The Bridge Centre.  Approx 35 children and adults turned up and enjoyed a number of activities including face painting, bead craft, swingball, 5-aside, basketball, uni-hoc, plus of course the bouncy castle.

To date £205 has been raised for Sunday School funds.  A big "thank-you" to everyone who supported the children.

Tinies and Explorers
Monday - 6.15 - 7.30 pm in the Cooke Hall, 1st Killyleagh Presbyterian Church.
Juniors, Seniors and Brigadiers    
Monday - 7.30 - 9.15 pm in the Cooke Hall, 1st Killyleagh Presbyterian Church.
The Annual Display took place on Friday 4th April at 7.15 pm in the Cooke Hall.  Special guests this year were the Rev. Mark McConnell, Cherith, Daniel, Matthew and their latest arrival, Erin.

The District Parade took place on Sunday 6th April in Comber.   

We would like to thank everyone for their support throughout the year especially during GB Week and at the Christmas Sale.  We would like to thank parents for encouraging the girls to attend every week.

     Choir

 

Wednesday - 8.00 pm in the Church.

 

 

DUTIES OF A CHOIR MEMBER 

1.     To sing joyfully to the glory of God 

2.     To lead the congregation in the worship and in the spoken responses which are part of the service 

3.     To set a good example of godly behaviour during the service by concentrating on whatever is happening at all times 

4.     To attend worship services as regularly as possible 

5.     To attend practices whenever possible 

6.     To accept the discipline and instructions of those responsible for the leading and training of the Choir 

7.     To help to create a happy team among all members of the Choir 

8.     To encourage others with good singing voices to lend their gifts to the Choir 

9.     Under the leadership of the Robes Mistress, to make sure that you have the right robes and that they are kept clean and tidy 

10.  To be aware that the Organist is responsible for the Choir and its membership and should be kept aware of any intention of a wish to join, to leave or to resign membership

     Mothers Union

 

1st Thursday - 8.00 pm in the Church Hall.

The Annual Sale took place on Saturday 1st November in the Parish Hall.  Over £500 was raised for funds.

Throughout each meeting, every member has stayed focused on the meaning and aim of the Mothers Union.  As our prayer reminds us all - "May we know Your presence and peace in our homes, fill them with Your love and use them to Your glory".
